I adore book trailers. The idea of "seeing" what we readers create in our mind's eye is wonderful to me—because unlike movies that leave things out, book trailers are true to the text by definition.
I have three that I'm obsessed with, that I want to share with you.
1. A Study in Charlotte While you've heard me rave about this book recently, I honestly cannot recommend the trailer enough. The subsequent sequels have trailers as well—but this first one is amazing.
2. Fifty Shades of Chicken You read that right. This cookbook, on it's own, will have you cackling like a mad hen (see what I did there?) in laughter as you read it. The trailer, though? It's beyond creative and hysterical.
3. Salt to the Sea Yes, another YA novel—but this trailer is hauntingly beautiful. Shot with a bigger budget than most indie films, the entire 1:18 draws you and and keeps you there.
